ParSEC Wisconsin conducts independent research and analysis, and engages in pro bono consulting and advisory work, on education equity issues for students in Wisconsin, emphasizing practical advocacy and legal literacy for students, their families, and others who support them, with a focus on students with disabilities and students of color. Current research topics include: reading reform, school improvement, transparency and stakeholder engagement, equitable access to educational opportunities, privacy and access to education records, and school finance and funding.
